Please note we will be closed on November 26 for Thanksgiving. We wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.

Welcome to Jeremy’s on the Hill located at the gateway to historic Julian, California!

We offer fresh, seasonal, organic, healthy, local and outstanding cuisine. As a family owned and operated business, we specialize in fresh and sumptuous steaks, seafood, burgers, salads, desserts and more, and are proud to be one of Julian’s finest restaurants.  Our philosophy behind California cuisine is keep it fresh, keep it simple, and keep it tasting great.

Come see why Jeremy’s on the Hill has become Southern California’s destination restaurant at the gateway to the romantic old gold mining town of Julian, in the mountains above San Diego.

As a part of our commitment to healthy foods, we also offer gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.  Our specialty desserts are all hand-crafted and a delight for the senses.

We feature an amazing variety of micro-brewed beers, some on tap from a local brewery, hard ciders and champagnes, as well as an array of California wines, some locally grown and produced.

We take pride in providing an atmosphere that promotes family friendliness while still providing for romantic intimacy.   We have an indoor dining area with separate dining rooms, a beautiful patio area covered with twinkle lights, oil lamps and candles (enclosed in the winter months with several romantic fireplaces), and a dining area under the large oak tree – and yes – we do welcome furry friends outdoors and have water bowls as well. Corona Virus Update:

At Jeremy’s on the Hill, the health and safety of our guests and team members continues to be our top priority amid concerns about the spread of Coronavirus Disease  (COVID-19).

Current Updates as of July 7, 2020:

Our patio dining is still available with extra added shade and tables 6 feet apart.  Take out is available and can be pre-ordered for a set pick up time.  Reservations and early orders are highly encouraged.

As per per State and local Health Department regulations, all staff members are wearing masks and ALL dining guests must wear masks any time you are entering the building and until we seat you at your table (no self seating).

Our team members take our temperatures before each shift and you will actively see a team member wiping down door handles and frequently touched surfaces.

Each table and chair are wiped down using an EPA registered, concentrated no rinse quat sanitizing solution every time.  We have hand sanitizers both complimentary and small bottles for sale for your convenience.

We have increased our cleaning protocol even more and have a team member sanitizing door handles, switches and the bathroom at least every hour.

We sanitize the menus, pens and check presenters after each use.

We also have disposable paper menus and they can be found on line.

We have always used disinfectant wipes on every table, bar, and high chair, and we are adding more sanitizers too. Of course, we have lots of gloves! All of our dishes, glasses, and silverware go through a commercial dishwasher with commercially maintained chemicals. We will continue to monitor the situation, and do what is advised by our local health department. Our thoughts are with anyone affected by the coronavirus in any way.

We always look forward to serving you. Thank you for your continued your support. Stay safe everyone!
